AI for HVAC offices, with a human on review

About HVACAI.ca: HVAC marketing experience, an AI consulting practice, and a rule about human review

HVACAI.ca combines the HVAC marketing work of HVAC.Agency with the AI consulting practice of SAZ.ca. It is Canadian, based in Vancouver, led by Ali Sedighi, MBA, and it works on the office side of HVAC companies only.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

HVACAI.ca is a Canadian service that helps HVAC, heating and cooling companies use AI in the office: answering overflow calls, following up missed calls and estimates, drafting content, and summarising dispatch and reporting work. As a member of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, it answers to a Vancouver, BC headquarters and to Ali Sedighi, MBA, who leads it. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor: we never install, repair or maintain HVAC equipment.

Why this site exists

HVAC owners are being pitched AI receptionists, AI follow-up and AI content every week, usually by vendors who have never watched a CSR handle a cold-snap Monday. The pitches are often fine as far as they go. What they leave out is the work around the tool: the escalation rules, the consent records, the call-recording notice, the person who reads the transcripts, and the honest test at the end of the month.

HVACAI.ca exists to do that work with HVAC companies, and to say plainly when AI isn't the answer. Sometimes the real problem is too few leads, in which case the right move is marketing through our parent, HVAC.Agency, not another tool.

The two practices behind it

HVAC marketing

The group's HVAC marketing work, run through HVAC.Agency, has built 150+ live HVAC websites and the lead systems behind them. That experience matters for AI because it tells us what HVAC leads look like, when they arrive, and what happens when nobody answers them. Our results page shows the marketing outcomes, clearly labelled as marketing outcomes.

AI consulting through SAZ.ca

SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is the group's Canadian consulting firm, and Ali Sedighi founded it to work on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration. Its AI consulting page describes a staged approach (mapping opportunities, setting governance, designing, shipping, operating and scaling) and says it is model-agnostic, choosing between model providers by use case. For HVAC companies we apply a much smaller version of that discipline: one task, written rules, a test, a pilot, a decision.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi holds an MBA in Technology Management and has 17+ years of experience in digital marketing and technology, starting in 2007 when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

His own ventures include Conv.ca, an agency for conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca; at SAZ.ca he serves as Founder and Managing Partner. Through Sedighi.ca, his growth, marketing and technology consulting company, he leads brands including HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency and BusinessConsulting.ca. His client work spans Canada, the USA and Dubai, and the 150+ live HVAC websites he has built include CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and RomaHeating.ca.

That mix of conversion work, automation and HVAC lead generation is the background for this site's view of AI: useful when it catches leads that would otherwise be lost, harmful when it puts a confident machine between a worried customer and your team.

How we work

  1. Measure first. We start from your call logs, quote list and office time, not a product demo.
  2. One task at a time. Each AI job gets its own pilot, so you can see what helped.
  3. Rules before launch. Disclosure, escalation, consent and recording notices are written and agreed before any customer is involved. See AI privacy and review rules.
  4. Humans review customer-facing output. Scripts, templates and published content are checked by a person, and transcripts are sampled throughout.
  5. You own everything. Accounts, data, templates and prompts are yours.
  6. Honest exits. If the pilot numbers don't work, we recommend stopping.

We work across Canada, meeting by video call or in person, and by phone, text, email and screen share. Our contact page explains what to send us.

What we will not do

  • Pose as technicians or give HVAC technical or safety advice.
  • Build AI that refuses customers or sets priorities without a person.
  • Claim features or prices for a vendor's product; check those on the vendor's own pages.
  • Promise rankings, leads or results. We show you the maths and measure honestly.
  • Give legal advice. We summarise official sources and refer specific questions to your lawyer.

Where we work

We work with HVAC companies in all ten provinces and three territories. The areas hub explains how language, privacy law and seasonality change AI setup from British Columbia to Nunavut.
